Concierge medicine is an innovative approach to medical care that restores the integrity of the physician-patient relationship. Rather than forcing doctors to rush through thirty appointments every day, the concierge approach allows physicians to focus all their attention on patients by providing the highest standards of personalized service and care. concierge medicine provides the convenience people need and the quality of care they deserve.
How does concierge medicine work?
Patients pay an annual fee, and in return, have access to a personal physician 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Dr. Yael Vidal becomes a partner in your healthcare and focuses on proactive disease prevention with a “whole body and person” approach. In other words, your physician gets to know you and your family as well as your interests and activities, your goals, and any and all factors that play a role in your overall health and well-being.
What is included in the annual membership fee?
Your annual fee includes the personalized services and medical care provided by Dr. Yael Vidal and her staff, including an annual executive physical exam (including labs), same-day / next day sick visit appointments, frequent follow-up visits, prescribing required medications and their required refills, unhurried comprehensive appointments, referrals to MRI / CT / Ultrasound and imaging services, and addressing any medical concerns that you wish to discuss with Dr Vidal on a regular basis. Further included are phone and email consultations with Dr. Vidal, as well as direct access to Dr. Vidal's mobile phone for after hours and urgent medical issues or medical concerns.
Do you accept Medicare, or other types of health insurance?
Vidal Concierge does not accept Medicare or other insurances but recommends that patients have insurance coverage for care including that includes hospitalizations, emergency room visits, prescriptions, laboratory or radiological studies, and other physicians and specialist visits.
What is the annual membership fee?
The annual membership fee is $2,800, paid at the time of signing a contract. This fee is not covered by your health insurance. We accept personal checks; 3% credit card processing fee is added if paying by credit card.
Do I still need my health insurance?
We strongly encourage you to maintain health insurance coverage. Your insurance will pay for prescriptions, hospitalizations, laboratory tests, imaging studies and care from specialists.
Can I use my HSA and FSA accounts to pay the annual fee?
Yes, in many cases this is an option.
